- Brief Introduction about theme of the year SDGs #5 – Gender Equality -UN Representative
- Brief Introduction to Art & Mithila Painting – by Nupur Nishith, Senior Artist/Curator
Lead Art Instructor : Nupur Nishith / Manisha Shah
Group I : Age Group – 5- 8 yrs
Participants will be given a basic design in Mithila art and trained to add color and details in Mithila art.
Group II : Age Group – 9- 14 yrs
Participants will be trained to draw a basic Mithila Painting and develop from scratch. participants/instructor
Mithila Art created by participants during the workshop will be exhibited for the public at diversity plaza.
Light refreshment/snacks will be served to all
New York elected officials presented awards/trophies to all participants and also addressed the program followed by different cultural performances by Gobind Rai dance group and others.
