Mithila art — the ancient painting tradition of the Mithila region of Bihar and Nepal — is among the world\'s most recognisable folk art forms. Its bold geometric motifs, intricate line work, and vibrant natural pigments have adorned the walls of homes for centuries, telling stories of the Ramayana, celebrating life rituals, and honoring the rhythms of the natural world.
