The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal is the Foundation’s primary government partner. The Ministry provides essential institutional support, co-funding, and policy guidance for programmes that align with Nepal’s national cultural heritage strategy.
Key collaborative initiatives include the National Mithila Art Festival (jointly organised and funded), a national artist certification programme that has formally recognised over 300 Mithila artisans, and the Madhubani Art Tourism initiative that integrates Mithila cultural experiences into Nepal’s national tourism promotion.
The partnership ensures that the Foundation’s work is embedded within national cultural policy, amplifying impact and ensuring long-term institutional sustainability.
