Amit Kumar Mishra coordinates the Foundation’s international cultural exchange activities and diplomatic partnerships. With a background in international relations and over a decade of experience in cultural diplomacy, he has facilitated Mithila art exhibitions and workshops in more than 30 countries.

Amit is the primary liaison with embassies, cultural attachés, and international cultural organisations. He was instrumental in securing the Foundation’s landmark partnerships with the Japan Foundation, the British Council, and the French Institute in Nepal.

He is a firm believer that art can transcend political boundaries and create meaningful people-to-people connections. His work on the “Art as Diplomacy” initiative, which places Mithila art exhibitions in diplomatic missions worldwide, was recognised by the South Asian Cultural Diplomacy Forum in 2024.
