Samantha Dorothy leads the Foundation’s community outreach and livelihood programmes, working directly with mithila artist. Her work is focused on creating sustainable economic pathways for artists, particularly women, by connecting them to domestic and international markets.
Since joining the Foundation in 2020, Samantha has directly supported over 200 artists, helping them establish producer cooperatives, access microfinance, and adopt platforms for their arts visibility.
Samantha is passionate about the intersection of cultural heritage and gender equity. She co-developed the Foundation’s “Artisan Women Leaders” fellowship, which has supported 80 women in taking on leadership roles in their communities. Her work was featured in various report on cultural industries and gender equity.
